Day 2 – Caesarea

Today we visited Caesarea, the Roman capital of Judea during the First Century. Herod the Great built this city in honor of Caesar Augustus. Peter preached to Cornelius here in Acts 10. And Paul would be held here as a prisoner before appealing to Caesar in Rome, taking him on a tempestuous journey where he encountered Euroclydon in Acts 27.
